Anita Barone

Barone played Gail Cunningham in The Shoes of Seinfeld season 4. Barone was a chef known as Elaine Benes who wanted shoes. In the 1990s, she was a regular member on Carol & Company with actress Carol Burnett. Barone additionally played the role of the ex-wife of Carol Willick Ross Geller in the character's first appearance on Friends. Jane Sibbett, who replaced Barone when she left the show because she wanted to play a part-time character with a bigger part, was able to fill her.
