McKayla Rose Maroney also known by the nickname 'Mack Air Maroney" is a famous American athlete, who won two medals at the Summer Olympic Games of 2012 Silver for individual gymnastics in the vault and a gold with her team. Early on she was influenced to learn gymnastics by her athletic parents. Her vault was an elite expert and the only one to take home and defend the gold medal at two championships in succession. It was not a pleasant experience with the silver medal she won for vault at the 2012 Olympics and wanted an opportunity to win gold again at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. However, due to illness and injuries, she announced that she would retire before her departure from the Olympic Games. Aside from gymnastics, McKayla has been in television serials.
