Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira (born May 26, 1978) was born in Campinas, So Paulo. She was on screen in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) as well as A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira became a member of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC) in March of 2020. She's currently an integral core team for multilateral engagement member and an analyst for the Assassination Witness program. Research conducted by the GITOC focus on assassinations, disappearances and other forms of violence in the context of illicit economies. In addition to organized crime, her research is centered on the human rights implications as well as international human rights law. Ana Paula has an LL.M. in cum louise (with the highest distinction) in International Law from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. She has an LL.M. in Public Law, as well as an MBA in international relations at Fundacao Getulio Vargas. Ana Paula received a magnacum honors bachelor's degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in Legal and Social Sciences. She is a lawyer by training who spent four years at the public law litigation company. Other past experience includes assisting in non-governmental organisations with their the headquarters located within Rio de Janeiro.
