Christopher Peter Meloni has been an acclaimed American actor for a number of years. Most famously, he is known for the roles he played in "Law and the Special Victims Unit". From his early college days Meloni had a keen interest in acting. After that, he attended his home institution, the University of Colorado at Boulder. His characters in television are gaining him lots of attention. The actor has the ability to create characters that reflect both good and bad sides that are part of our legal system. He has the ability to capture the audiences attention with ease. He played the serial killer role in his debut television show and later played the role of an NYPD detective. Because of his portrayal on the smaller screen, he's been nominated several times for the prestigious Emmy Awards. One of his most striking facial traits is believed to be his piercing blue eyes which have allowed him to portray characters who appear rough and fascinating. People's magazine's 2006 list of Sexiest Men Alive included him.
