Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor best well-known for his part in the well-known television series Law & Order Special Victims Unit'. He discovered his love for acting in his early days at the college classroom and then studied acting in the University of Colorado at Boulder. He was also active on TV and film but his performances on small screens have earned him a lot of popularity. He is able to play two characters, one from the perspective of police officers and other. This is the reason that makes him so popular. He played the serial killer role in the first TV show he appeared in as well as later portrayed of an NYPD detective.
