LeBron Raymone James Sr. born on December 30, 1984 is an American professional basketball player, who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). King James, he's widely considered to be the most successful player of all-time and often is compared with Michael Jordan during debates about the best basketball player ever. James holds four NBA champions. Four NBA MVPs. Four NBA Finals MVPs. Three All-Star MVPs. And two Olympic gold medals. James is the NBA All-Star who has most points in playoffs, the second highest career point total, and seventh-highest ever assist number. He has been selected to be an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times, and was named on his place on the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. He was the third player to play in the NBA Finals. Eight of those were consecutive from the year 2011 until 2018. James was selected to his place on the NBA 75th Anniversary Team and became the NBA's first player who has scored 10,000+ points, rebounds, and assists throughout his career. He will be the first to do so in 2022. James was a basketball player at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron Ohio. The national media hailed him as an NBA superstar. In 2003, the Cleveland Cavaliers took him first in the NBA draft as a pro-to-prep. He was named the NBA player of the year for 2004. Then he was one of the best players in the NBA, winning the NBA MVP Award both the years 2009 and 2010. James was not able to secure an award in Cleveland and then left Cleveland with the status of an "free agent" in the year 2010.
